DAN LEONARD
Guitarist Dan Leonard began his professional career at the age of sixteen. In college he majored in classical guitar and composition while spending his evenings performing in local jazz and rock clubs. Winner of the Mid-Atlantic Great Guitar Search in 1989, Dan has also been nominated for numerous Wammies (Washington Area Music Awards). His studio credits include TV's America's Most Wanted and The Learning Channel, as well as a number of releases by regional artists. As a composer Dan received first place and honorable mentions in the Jazz/New Age category of the 1998 and 1999 Songwriters Association of Washington contests with three of his selections from his debut recording Time Alone.
